Appreciating the outdoors on ‘Outdoor Classroom Day’

The summer term saw the children take part in our annual ‘Outdoor Classroom Day’, where they spent the entire day outside, including having a picnic lunch in the garden.

Our Outdoor Classroom Day is an excellent opportunity for the children to experience a range of different activities and experiences in the outdoors, including those revolving around nature such as cloud watching and listening out for different bird calls. It is a great start to making time outdoors a daily ritual for children across the world.

We enhanced the outdoor area with new activities, such as giant bubble making and riding their bikes and scooters across the playground. They also had the opportunity to visit parts of the school that they wouldn’t usually see, such as the pirate ship and the reception playground.
